I have sent a demand letter and reminders, emails, and texts to the other party in Georgia. What should be my next step if the person received the letter but their actions and behavior continue, and the amount owed is over $12,000?

I received a summons from a debt collection agency for $11,186.15 in Nebraska, dated May 13th. I combined my credit card debt through Global Management, who pays off the cards one at a time. They advised me not to make any payments on those cards. I have 20 days to respond. What should I do?

In Shelby County, Tennessee Circuit Court, can the media receive a copy of a motion from the courthouse, specifically a motion for injunctive relief via a fiat by a guardian ad litem and a motion to seal court proceedings? If so, what is required by the media personnel to receive the copy, and is there a legal precedent for leaving the records open while awaiting appeal in the state of Tennessee or the US Supreme Court?

I was selling property to a company under a contract that required a $1000 deposit, which was never sent due to their oversight. Now they are backing away from the deal. The contract states that the seller is to keep the deposit upon termination for damages, but I never received it. What can I do about this matter?

I was arrested for domestic violence in Utah because I got into a fight with my sisters. I was attacked first, and I was worried my sisters were going to hurt themselves. The neighbors called the police, but I had already left. An hour later, the police questioned me without reading my Miranda Rights and took me to jail. I have a court date on the 15th. I want to be a social worker and am scared that if this charge stays on my record, I will be unable to pursue this profession. My sisters want to drop the charges, but the state has filed domestic charges against me. What should I do?
