I have to replace a damaged stove in my rental property. Am I responsible to replace it with a new one or one of equal value? The lease states that if anything is damaged, I have to replace it, but it's not detailed. The current stove is from 1982, and the landlord wants me to pay $450 for a new one.

I have an attorney who has been assisting me in liquidating private stock for restitution. Recently, I designated $20K towards my restitution and gave the check to my attorney. However, he is now pressuring me to allow him to keep the money instead of the victim. I am troubled by this, as he knows I owe the money to the victims and that I told the judge the $20K was for restitution. What should I do in this situation?

I got a judgement against me on 8/2/2010 for $10,007.00. The judge would not let me tell my side on why I feel I don't owe them. How do I respond? What can the insurance company do now that they got the judgement? What should I do to protect myself now that they have the judgement?
