I sent a demand letter to a car dealership notifying them of an error in my contract and misrepresentation of a vehicle. I gave them 72 hours to respond, but haven't received a reply yet. I also stipulated that they had 14 days to remedy the issue. Should I proceed with filing a lawsuit if they haven't responded within the 72-hour window, or should I wait until the 14 days are over? Should I call them or resend the letter via certified mail?

My mother was in the hospital and required a breathing tube and suction device to keep her airway clear. The hospital cleared her for discharge without ensuring the necessary durable medical equipment would be provided. The durable medical equipment company failed to inform us they couldn't provide the equipment until after my mother was put on life support. As a result, she went without proper oxygen for 40 minutes, leading to her death. Can I sue the durable equipment company for wrongful death and the hospital for medical malpractice?
