I live in Atlanta and have had a rental storage unit in Columbus, GA, for the last 4 years. I called to find out why my credit card had not been charged for the last 2 months of rental. After research, the onsite resident manager had left a couple of months ago and apparently did not keep good records regarding the billing. I found out that the contents of the unit were put up for auction and sold. I was never served a certified letter (as required by GA Law) and my phone number has never changed. In the auto body industry, some insurance companies refuse to pay for the rental of specialized 'celette' frame measuring equipment/jigs, stating that using this equipment is part of the cost of doing business. These jigs are necessary for restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition, especially for high-end vehicles like Porsches, which require specific equipment for repairs. How can we legally compel insurance companies to pay for the rental of these jigs, given that they are essential for proper vehicle restoration and are not part of the standard cost of doing business?

I know my neighbors are illegally selling drugs and I’m scared because there are people who come to buy from them, and they might be dangerous. My owner is aware but isn’t doing anything about it. What should I do?
