I live in CT and hit an electric pole, receiving a ticket for driving out of lane and driving on a suspended license. I had no idea my license was suspended due to a DMV address error and an unpaid ticket in NY, which I later paid. My license has since been reinstated. What can I expect in court and how should I approach this situation?

My mom had a reverse mortgage on her house when she died. I am 67. I know that we are supposed to pay off that reverse mortgage within a year; but if the title of the house is transferred to me, can we just keep that reverse liened against the house without paying it off?

I have four dogs and live in a co-op building with a one pet policy. I have had my dogs 'openly and notoriously' for over 6 years, walking them openly every day, and the neighbors, super, and his workers know them. Now the board has sent a letter demanding to know how many dogs I have because they've heard I am breaking the pet policy. Do I have any recourse or will I have to give up my dogs?
