I live in Pasco County, Florida, and am currently on drug offender probation, which was supposed to end in February 2011. I violated my probation a few months ago for testing positive for Xanax. My probation officer accused me of tampering with a drug test due to taking Azo for a urinary tract infection, which turns urine orange. The judge offered me 6 months in county jail and 1 year of community control. The lab test came back showing the original test was diluted, and I tested clean in a subsequent test. My probation officer has not informed me if I am violated again or not, and I have a court appearance soon. Should I be prepared to go to jail, or can she not violate me for taking over-the-counter medications like Azo?

A company in Florida pretended to represent a company in Virginia to whom we owed some money. We paid said company with a joint check, including both company names, and now we find out they have not paid the company we owed the money to. What can we do to get our money back?

I have a mold issue in my house, and the landlord did not provide information on how to control the problem as required by the RCW 59.18.060(12). I want to get out of my lease agreement before the termination date because this mold is an issue my family and I cannot bear. Can I do this under the law?
