Is it normal for someone's case to be continued again after being incarcerated for 76 days? The individual has been in jail since March 2nd in Lake County, Florida, with charges filed and misdemeanors taken care of. The case was due for a plea deal last week and sentencing today but was continued for the third time at the last minute. The person has a public defender and feels forgotten about.

I bought 4 phones from Sprint 2 months ago. My ex-boyfriend took off with all 4 phones when I was at work. Now Sprint sent me to a debt collector saying I owe $3,000 for these phones and if I don’t pay the full amount or $700 before the 22nd, they are gonna garnish my wages. Can they do that? Also, is there any way for someone to go after my ex for this?
