I'm in a civil suit in Washington State and have been advised not to talk to opposing counsel. I'm wondering if it's smart to show opposing counsel the proof I have regarding annuities my uncle put my parents as beneficiaries, especially since my cousin is not happy and has taken legal action. Additionally, I'm concerned about a previous attorney who took $10k and left without resolving my case. What should I do?
