I'm in the middle of a divorce. My abusive husband filed for divorce. We share custody of our 10-year-old daughter. Despite that, I cover all of her expenses, and he doesn't give me a penny for her. I do all the schoolwork and childcare and the bulk of parenting. He has 10 cars and ample resources yet doesn't want to provide with anything. I buy all her clothes. In over 18 months, he's spent maybe 3 weekends with her. He claims his schedule fluctuates but he's self-employed and doesn't provide me with hours. I have to fight for personal time to go to appointments and can't even go to the gym because he just picks up and leaves and I can't get a babysitter in time. Since my daughter's birth, I became a stay-at-home mom until 2019 when I was forced out of our apartment after being homeless and the continued abuse. During that time, he attempted to exorcise me, spit in my food, locked me out of the apartment, and photographed my journals and shared them with third parties while he went around saying that I abandoned my daughter. Can I ask for spousal and child support? He left our daughter unattended once at a car dealership with the salesperson and another in the apartment, and he instructed her to ignore my phone calls and to lie to me when I asked her about him. Can I request for the custody agreement to be modified? Can I ask for spousal support and child support as well? Additionally, is there a possibility for me to sue him for domestic violence or press any charges for sexual harassment? I have videos and audio recordings.
