I'm purchasing a car that still has a lease, and the person I got it from is the wife of the person on the lease. She had power of attorney at the time of the sale, and we have notarized documents stating she would sell the car to me and make the payments. Is this legal, and can the person on the lease legally take the car back if he wants to?

I encountered an aggressive security guard at a company's building (Novavax in Germantown, Maryland) who prevented me from taking a picture of the building's information. I want to know if I have any legal grounds to sue them, report them to the BBB, and request any video footage they might have of the interaction.

I’m in Texas, how bad is it when someone had taken my address to register herself for election and Driver’s License. How can I have this reverted?

I have a court hearing on May 17th, 2023 for an objection against a company that garnished money from me that I don't owe. I filed an objection stating I was under identity theft when the account was made. I have a police report and a copy of a check from the same company that garnished money from me. The court hearing is via Zoom. What should I expect and how should I present my evidence?

Can a person with dementia, who is currently in a mental health wing, legally sign documents if they are not in their right mind? If not, what are the rights of family members in such a situation?

I am 15 and possibly got a 17-year-old girl pregnant. I told her before we did it that I wouldn’t want anything to do with it and she agreed. Is it illegal to just ignore her and walk away if push comes to shove? (morally wrong but would there be any legal repercussions)? Also, if she files for child support or gets government benefits, what would be the legal implications for me and my parents in Massachusetts?
