I adopted a dog out from my rescue 5 years ago, and the contract stated I could take the dog back at any time if there was suspected neglect. I’ve been made aware of animal cruelty charges against the adopter for other dogs in her care. Does my contract still stand, and can I remove the dog if neglect is suspected based on the other reported cases, even though my rescue was dissolved a few years ago?

I put a down payment on a vehicle that was later confiscated before I could make the first payment. The dealership allowed me to leave with signed paperwork, but the bank didn't approve my loan, so they confiscated the vehicle and kept my down payment. Is my down payment refundable, and can the dealership charge mileage and recovery fees?

I received a new ground jury superseding indictment, but in this superseding indictment, charges were dropped and some were replaced. Is this legal?
