A person ran into my dog, and my dog bit them. Am I at fault? My dog was on a leash and under control, and the person who was bitten provoked or antagonized my dog. The incident involved a child who slid into my dog on the sidewalk, and the parent said no skin was broken. We agreed she would get her money back, which I sent on the 2nd. Her belongings are still at my place, and she is not responding to my attempts to contact her.
