I paid rent on time for February and March, but due to fraudulent activity in my bank account in early March, the payments were reversed and I was charged NSF and late fees. I provided the apartment complex with a police report and bank statements showing the payments cleared, but they still hold me responsible for the fees. I offered to pay April's rent while resolving the issue with the bank, but they demanded all or nothing, causing additional late fees. I've lived here for almost 3 years without issues, but now I'm facing eviction notices despite showing proof of cleared payments. What can I do to resolve this situation?

Given the situation, you may want to consider writing a formal demand letter to enforce your rights....

In a dismissed petition for judicial review, does the written pleading control the judge's ruling and appeal court review, or can oral statements at the hearing also be considered? Can I appeal only the standing issue if the judge ruled on it during the hearing? If I claimed standing based on being the personal representative of an estate, should that have resulted in a judgment of standing in a petition for judicial review?

I was a treasurer for a kennel club and was involved in a financial issue that led to police involvement and probation. The club reported me to the AKC, who now wants to remove me and my dogs from their registry. I need to file an appeal but don't know how. What are my legal options?

My girlfriend and I have a shared checking account, and she was suddenly garnished last week in Oregon. They took all the money from our savings and checking accounts, which was my hard-earned money. We were not aware of any judgment or garnishment. What should we do?
