I purchased a secondhand Hydrafacial machine for my business. The company that makes the machines is sending me letters stating I am infringing on their trademark and demanding I pay $7,500 to use the term Hydrafacial. I thought I would be protected by Fair Use of trademarks to conduct business. What should I do, as they are threatening legal action if I don't comply?

Is it possible in a Minnesota unemployment fraud overpayment case to negotiate to reduce the interest charges? My principal amount, including penalties, started at about $3,000 but has now increased to over $14,000. I would be willing to pay an amount close to the original $3,000 immediately to clear this, but I cannot see myself ever managing to pay off the $14,000 as I am nearly 54 years old and have no retirement or savings at all.

My wife and I are in possession of medical marijuana cards and prefer to manufacture our own edibles. We live in Weld County, Colorado, and currently have a combined plant count of 48. We are unsure about the legality of increasing our plant count and whether becoming a caregiver for my wife could help. What are the legal implications of increasing our plant count, and should we renew our medical marijuana cards?
