I received a 'judgement - contested' for a small claims case in California, where I was suing a major dealership for damaging my car. The cost to repair was above $6000, and I provided multiple body shops' estimates to the judge. After two weeks, I called the clerks office to inquire about the status and was told it could take up to 60 days for the judge to decide. Shortly after, I saw a 'judgement-contested' posted for an amount of $3000, which does not reflect what I asked for. I am unsure if I am awarded this sum and what 'judgement-contested' means. Can I file a motion to vacate the judgment, and how does this process work?

I’m at the courthouse for a mediation that was supposed to start at 9:00 a.m. The attorney representing the debt collection agency did not show up and requested a phone mediation due to another case. It’s 45 minutes past 9:00 a.m. and I’m still waiting. Is it fair for me to wait this long, or can the case be dropped since I appeared on time for the mediation?
