I received a summons stating I am being sued for a car accident that caused property damage, but I was not involved in any accident and was not the driver of the vehicle mentioned. The summons gave me 20 days to respond, but I was unaware of the date and was informed by the lawyer that I have until Monday to respond. What should I do to get more time to respond?

Since the 'intent to serve subpoena' are coming through a court other than the court in which my case is filed, they are moot, is that correct? Do I then move to quash all the records the defense has gotten by subpoena through the wrong court?

I got my 2nd DUI (first DUI got court supervision 11 years ago) in January, and finally pleaded guilty this week. I have the BAIID installed in my car. Am I still legally allowed to drive with it until the SOS says otherwise?

I read technology and marketing related articles on a marketing company's website, which are relevant to my job. The marketing company tracked my activity and shared a screenshot of the articles I was reading with a senior manager at my company, without my consent. This incident occurred while I was dealing with internal conflicts with the same senior manager. I believe the marketing company violated privacy laws by sharing my personal information without my consent and put me in a difficult situation. Do I have a case against the marketing company for these actions?

My son, a police officer in Texas, asked two Spanish-speaking officers for help with his Spanish to take a required test. He failed some courses and never took the final. He gave the officers a cap as a thank you, which another officer reported to the state. An investigation followed, and after two and a half years, he went to a hearing in Austin where the two officers testified against him. The state wants to revoke his license. His lawyer was ill-prepared, and we don't know what to do next. If his license is taken, is there an appeal process, and what type of attorney should we look for?
