I recently traded vehicles with someone, and they are now claiming the SUV is having problems that I never experienced. I disclosed all known issues before the trade. Am I legally obligated to do anything, and does the fact that the problems are unrelated to what I disclosed change anything?

Is a policy requiring a doctor's note showing an employee is okay to return to work after calling in sick for 5 days a good practice to maintain, or is it outdated? From an employer's perspective, it seems to open up some liability if we do not require the employee to show that they are released to full duty (other employees getting sick from that one or that employee claiming in court we required her to return to work). However, we want to grow with the times and if the policy is no longer a standard policy, then we would like to change it.
