I rented my home out in Martinsburg, WV, with the tenant wanting to buy my home after one year. They did not buy but kept renting the house for 3 more years. I sent them a notice in October 2015 that they needed to move out by the end of January 2016. They got November's rent in December and have only paid $300 towards December and January's rent. I live in Phoenix, AZ, and when my son checked on the house, he found that the two upright freezers and the blinds were gone. Is it worth getting a lawyer to get my money and the money for the two freezers?

My friend had an aneurysm and lost her job. She's been trying to get on disability for over a year now. What does she need to know to speed up the process? She has never been able to see her lawyer in person, only over the phone. Is that normal?

My wife was arrested on possession charges in March, posted bail the next day, and was finally arraigned in December. I thought there was a time limit on being brought in front of a judge. What is the significance of the bond hearing versus the arraignment, and what are the implications of the time delay in her formal charges?

Over twenty years ago in Arizona, I had a credit card with my mother. I was never a resident of Arizona, and I incurred over $5,000 in charges. My mother, who was a resident of Arizona, has died 15 years ago. Arizona has a tolling statute for the Statute of Limitations. According to the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, a state tolling statute cannot apply to interstate commerce. Does the inherent nature of all credit cards imply that they are interstate commerce? I am trying to determine if the Statute of Limitations on my debt is in effect, or if because I do not have a presence in Arizona, the tolling statute would apply and the Bank or a third party who they may have sold the paper to could still have the right to legal action.
