If you are a certificate holder of an affinity group life insurance policy, what happens if you leave the affinity group (i.e., not renew membership)? I moved into an affordable housing senior building last November under a written lease for one year with an income limit of $42,500. My annual income was $37,960. The building switched to a new managing company this year, and they now claim the income limit is $37,620, stating I must leave. I don't have the means to move and can't find comparable housing.
