I want to file a private nuisance case against my upstairs neighbor who makes loud noise almost every night from 11 pm to 2.30 am, including stomping, dragging furniture, and party noise. I have tried talking to her, sending letters, involving the HOA, and even the landlord, but the noise continues and is affecting my health. I have a voice recording of her party noise, letters to her and the HOA, and a security witness. Will I win the case, and what additional evidence could strengthen my case?

I sexted with a guy on Craigslist for about 2 weeks, then told him I repented and wanted to focus on my marriage. He tracked me down using information I shared about my car and my name, and has been harassing me by posting my personal information on Craigslist, calling me names, and threatening to send pictures of me to others. I have flagged the posts, threatened to involve the police, and even his wife and work, but the harassment continues. What can I do to stop this?

My husband and I own a construction company in ND. We began working on a project for a corporate newspaper owner in Oregon on property in ND. After doing all the leg work for architectural plans and permitting, we received contract approval in late July, but the down payment was not received until late September. We began demolition in October but due to permit issues, we were unable to begin actual construction until November. In early December, we requested additional funding based on job progress and monies already paid out. Three weeks after hearing nothing and attempting multiple contacts via phone and email, we were told that they should have required vendor lien releases from the beginning, which was never even discussed, and are refusing to pay until we obtain lien waiver/releases from all vendors/subcontractors, but they aren't willing to sign them because we are over 70% completion. The owner does not want to pay now. What should we do?
