I want to leave a small business identified as an S Corp, but the business will remain. I am listed as a partner with the state and IRS. I do not want any future profits from the business and want my name removed from all legal documentation. I live in Wisconsin. What steps do I need to take to protect my name and ensure I am not responsible for any future debts or liabilities?
