My daughter attained life insurance 3 years ago and mistakenly answered 'yes' to smoking when she had only tried an e-cigarette once. She now wants to retract this and the insurance company wants to give her a new exam. Since getting the insurance, she has developed health issues she didn't have before. What should she do, and would the insurance company count her new health issues against her even though they developed after she got the insurance?

My husband wants to refinance our house and says he can get a better interest rate if he takes me off the mortgage and just uses his credit score. We have had marital problems in the past but things are good now. I'm concerned about what would happen to me if he decided to divorce me or if he died. Would I still have claim to any assets if I let him take me off the mortgage?

I used a mover that gave me a binding moving estimate and no other monies should have been charged. A day before my move, the owner of the moving company called and said that the contract I received was not correct and that there will be an hourly rate, which came out to be double from my original binding contract. Additionally, they charged me 150 for gas that wasn’t disclosed to me. I’m in Florida and no one is helping me. What steps should I take to address this issue and potentially file a lawsuit?

Good morning, I am a newly licensed practical nurse in Florida who has a past drug possession charge due to addiction, now in recovery for eight years. The Florida Board of Nursing mandated I be contracted by the Intervention Project for Nurses after a background check. My license has been disciplined, claiming I am 'unable to practice safely' without grounds, preventing me from securing employment. I feel this is defamation and wonder if I have any recourse.
