I was a victim of fraud when purchasing a 2006 Pontiac Montana from a seller on Craigslist. The seller misrepresented the car's condition, claiming recent repairs that were not true, and the car had significant mechanical issues shortly after purchase. I have no money to consult a lawyer, and the police in Iowa City said I didn't have a criminal case. Should I contact the district attorney, and do I have a chance of winning a civil or criminal case against the seller?

Specifically, if a $3 million loan assessment is proposed to replace a line of credit used over the past 5 years, how would this change affect the lenders' security interests?

I ordered two pens from an Amazon seller, but received completely different pens than what was advertised. The seller initially denied the mistake but later admitted it and offered three options for resolution. I want to know if I can recover legal fees, storage costs, interest on the payment, and legal research costs from the seller, and if hiring an attorney is reasonable in this situation.
