I was an RN in the operating room with epilepsy and was required to get a CAB when on call. I called in sick on July 23rd, 2001, due to a sinus infection but was called back and told I had to be at work in half an hour or be fired. I had a seizure and a car accident while hurrying to work, resulting in disability. The judge said I knew I had epilepsy and shouldn't have driven that day. What should I do?

Does an elderly victim of a real estate fraud have to be a resident of California to get the remedies provided in the Elder Abuse statutes in California? Is there any way around the definition that an elder is over 65 and a resident of California?

Can I place a gate on the easement on my property in Watauga county, NC, which is used by one neighbor, and if so, how many? The neighbor controls the POA board and has been using the board to make our lives difficult, including spraying our property with roundup and allowing dumping of tree limbs. I have already put up no dumping and no trespassing signs, but the POA president says these signs are against the rules.
