I was approached by the Southern Tier Drug Task Force in NY today. I am a former drug addict who has been clean since May 1, 2007, and used to sell pain pills, mainly oxycodone. I am now facing criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree. I have been clean, got on the Suboxone program, and have a steady, good-paying factory job. The task force wants me to wear a wire on three people twice, but that is not an option for me. What should I do to keep my job and possibly avoid jail time?
