I was asked to file a notice of default on a civil case in Riverside, CA. I am suing an attorney for fees charged on a case she mishandled. The judge sent us to arbitration after our first hearing. I need to do arbitration for malpractice since I claim the attorney did not do her job and missed deadlines given by the court, costing me my case. I signed a contract with her for a civil case involving real property. The court has set an OSC because I did not file a notice of default. How do I fill out the form for default judgment (CIV-100) when the case has been sent to arbitration, and what should I include in the declaration on pleading?

You can correct your case when you appear for the OSC by preparing and filing your notice of default...
