I was chased by a state trooper, identified as McVeigh, in Fairview, IL, who knowingly and falsely led me into a terror-filled pursuit, causing emotional trauma. The trooper gave me a ticket for going over 200mph, despite my cruise control being set at 76mph. My car was confiscated, and I was driving on a suspended license without knowing it. As a result, I missed my flight, had to stay in a hotel, and my family had to come to get me. I want to sue the officer's surety bond and prevent him from working during the investigation. I believe he and his department engage in this behavior regularly, as indicated by a tow truck driver. What legal steps can I take, and do I have a case for emotional damages?
