I was cheated on a real estate deal by the executor of an estate. A client approached me, claiming his home and business were foreclosed on, and his car repossessed. He asked if I would buy his father's estate, promising to buy it back within 6 months with a 6-month mortgage in escrow. I purchased the house, but the escrow account was claimed by the IRS due to liens against the property. The sister of the client is still living in the run-down property, and I have invested $40,000 to make it habitable but can't sell it for what I paid and what I have invested. I've allowed my daughter to live in my condo rent-free, with the condition that she pays the utilities. She asked if her girlfriend could live with her to share expenses, and I agreed. However, the girlfriend has not paid my daughter anything. Since the condo is in my name, can I evict my daughter's girlfriend simply by removing her things from the condo and changing my locks?
