I was cited for a DUI 3 years ago and have recently discovered there was a summons I never received, resulting in a bench warrant. I was cited in a parking lot at a fire department, and a woman called the state police because my vehicle had been running. Can I visit the court without fear of arrest to discuss obtaining a court appearance? Is there a statute of limitations that would have thrown this out of court? I work out of town in several states; can I call the court and speak with the judge to pay a bond?
