I was employed as a bartender for 5 years and was injured on the job a couple of times, denied workers' compensation, and never paid for any paid sick time. I have noticed on my paystubs that I was never paid for these incidents. Now that I have resigned, are they legally entitled to pay me for the hours I should have been paid?

My car was recently recovered by SJPD after it got stolen and has severe damages on its right side. The police searched the vehicle and later handed it over to me to get it towed. My concern is if the thief committed any crimes using my vehicle before I reported it. Do I need to be concerned?

My landlady has been caught renting unpermitted cottages on land that is not zoned for such purposes. She told tenants of the situation on 2/28/24. I told her I would move by 3/22/24. She said the lawyer told her to give everyone an eviction notice. I don't care but would care if this could affect my credit.
