I was harassed by my cable company after making an appointment for a technician to replace a defective cable box. They repeatedly called me, including late at night, with automated and outsourced calls where I was yelled at to cancel the appointment. This continued from the time I made the appointment until the technician arrived. I want an executive from the company to call and apologize, as I believe their actions crossed the line into harassment. Additionally, I was told by an Optimum employee that it has been Altice's practice to dissuade customers from having home visits when there will be no visit charge. Is this behavior illegal, and how can I determine if I have a case?
