I was living in a building I own in Spartanburg, SC, without plumbing or power, and an inspector said it was okay to live there. After three years, the Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) showed up, and now I'm homeless again due to a new administration order (1906 OSWW). Was I not grandfathered in, and what legal options do I have since I was not dumping waste and only used water in my own yard?

I have a problem with my ex-boyfriend who won't buy me out of the house we lived in for 15 years in Hernando County, FL. The house was owned by him before our relationship and is in his name only. However, I made significant upgrades to the home, including adding two bedrooms and a bathroom, and have all the receipts. I calculated that I am owed $73,600 based on the resale value and my contributions. What legal steps can I take to resolve this issue?

I need more information on getting my puppies back. My coworker's friend was boarding my husky while she was having puppies, but now she refuses to give me back my puppies, and I'm running out of time to get them back before she tries to adopt them. I've tried the courts, but the court where she lives is only open twice a month, and the police won't do anything. I've also tried the county court, but I'm unsure about the paperwork and applying for an index number.

My husband consistently went to the doctor complaining of pain, but the doctors consistently gave him pain pills instead of diagnosing his condition. He died from prostate cancer, and his death certificate indicated that he may have had prostate cancer two years prior. What kind of legal action can I take?
