I was married on August 19, 2006, in Michigan. After about a month, the marriage started to deteriorate. My spouse has not contributed financially to household bills as promised, and I have not seen him working on his claimed business. I am working 60-75 hours a week to support the household. How long do I have to annul the marriage, and what grounds do I need to get one? I feel he misrepresented himself and his occupation, and I believe I am being taken advantage of. We now live in New York.

My ex-wife insists that my children refer to their stepfather as 'daddy,' which I find hurtful and potentially harmful to my 3-year-old son. I have discussed this with her, but she dismisses my concerns. What legal actions, if any, can I take to address this issue?

My first grader has been repeatedly hit, kicked, and shoved by a boy on a daily basis for about a month. She reported it to the noon supervisors, but the punishments have been minimal (5 minutes off each recess). The school staff was unaware of the ongoing issue, and I am frustrated with how it is being handled. Is there any other avenue to pursue to protect my child?
