Now the owner is threatening to send me to collections. Is this contract valid as it seems very unilateral, and we don't even start until December, so I have not even used their service yet?

When you ask your lawyer to file something for you, is he obligated to file it and should he file it as part of his job? Additionally, if my ex is hanging out with someone who has a history of domestic violence and I want to modify the custody agreement, should I confront my lawyer about filing this motion?
