I was put into the accelerated rehab program for a DUI in Pennsylvania in 2001 and completed most of the requirements. Due to severe breathing problems, I moved to Michigan with my daughter and requested permission from my probation officer, which was granted. However, I was unable to complete my counseling in Michigan because my records from Pennsylvania were not forwarded. I was later diagnosed with severe emphysema and have been on constant oxygen and medication since, collecting Social Security Retirement Disability since 2003. Recently, I received a letter stating my SSDR would be stopped due to a warrant in Pennsylvania. The local sheriff's department investigated and Pennsylvania refused to extradite me verbally, but Social Security requires a written statement. I cannot obtain this statement and no attorneys in Pennsylvania will help me. I need my SSDR and Medicare to stay alive. What can I do?
