I was put into the accelerated rehab program for a DUI in Pennsylvania in 2001 and completed most of the requirements. Due to severe breathing problems, I moved to Michigan with my daughter and requested permission from my probation officer, which was granted. However, I was unable to complete my counseling in Michigan because my records from Pennsylvania were not forwarded. I was later diagnosed with severe emphysema and have been on constant oxygen and medication since, collecting Social Security Retirement Disability since 2003. Recently, I received a letter stating my SSDR would be stopped due to a warrant in Pennsylvania. The local sheriff's department investigated and Pennsylvania refused to extradite me verbally, but Social Security requires a written statement. I cannot obtain this statement and no attorneys in Pennsylvania will help me. I need my SSDR and Medicare to stay alive. What can I do?

I am a convicted felon in Missouri with charges for forgery and stealing under $750. I am off probation in May 2009 and want to join the military. Is there anything I can do to make this possible, such as expunging my record or reducing the charges to misdemeanors?

There are 2 provisional patent applications filed within the last 5 months with 4 inventors listed. One of the inventors is the majority shareholder of a company that has provided financial resources for the research and legal fees for the filings, but there is no assignment document or written agreement with this company. What are our legal rights, and does the company have any claim to these patents?
