I was terminated from my job for not following a policy. Before my termination, an associate informed me four days prior that the branch manager had said I would be fired on Monday. I emailed my regional manager on Wednesday to inquire about this, but received no response until I was terminated on Friday. I am in Michigan. Is there any law protecting me from this situation, specifically regarding the sharing of information with another employee before my termination?
