I was watching a friend's dog, a wiener dog, on the sidewalk facing west when the mailman came from the east and approached the dog without asking if it was friendly or if it bites. What does maritime law/international trade say about how to complete my bill of lading for a shipment that is purchased from a seller in the USA for goods sourced and shipped from China using a freight forwarder to handle the paperwork? The customs authorities are requesting that the seller's information as per the invoice for the goods be placed on the Bill of Lading as the exporter/shipper instead of the freight forwarder as the exporter/shipper. Is this correct? Are there more than one way to complete the Bill of Lading and if yes, state instances.

I work as an hourly and commission employee under a union contract for AT&T now YP.com as an advertising sales rep. I was assigned a large advertiser, sold advertising to them, and earned commissions. However, I discovered that I will be debited $417.00 per check for the next 4 paycheck periods, reversing the commissions paid, because another sales rep asked to have this account assigned to him. The union and managers say it's policy. What recourse do I have if the policy is in writing?
