I was wrongfully terminated and incarcerated by the same municipal entity, which was done to prevent me from filing an appeal in the 9th District Court of Appeals for my wrongful termination. I only have until August 9th to file a lawsuit for my unlawful incarceration. Can I use the federal case of wrongful termination to prove a pattern of misconduct and file a lawsuit under the 1983 Civil Rights Act?

I have to file a written defense for a summons I received. Are there forms that I can print to give my answer or do I just write my answers on the summons and complaint that I was served? There isn't really anywhere to write on those 2 documents except at the bottom of the page. I am in Kentucky, Jefferson circuit court.

This is regarding Houston, TX unreasonable apartment move out charges. I want to sue the Title Holder and Management company in small claims court. Both are LLC with registered agents as per TX Secretary of State. What is the mode of serving the summons to defendants? I am filing in Harris County. Justice of Peace court does not serve the summons. Can I send certified mail to the LLC? Do I have to hire a process server?
