I was wrongfully terminated from my position as managing director of operations in a private sector company with 50-100 employees, under the umbrella of three companies, due to retaliation for bringing attention to unlawful practices such as not paying employees timely, incorrect tax deductions, and hiring staff without proper background checks. The COO, who has a record of neglect of a minor, was hostile towards me and terminated me without a written warning. What are my rights in this situation, and can the COO legally hold her position despite her record?
