I was charged with simple assault 17 years ago, which was dismissed. It hasn't shown up on several background checks, including one for a traffic ticket. I am now taking the RN boards and need to know if this dismissed charge will show up on my background check for the RN exam, especially since it involves live scan fingerprinting.

I have 6 felony charges against me in Pennsylvania. I was wondering if it was possible for them to be dropped if I could make a deal to move out of state. The charges arose because I had a minor living with me to help her with her mental issues. I had a hearing with a judge yesterday, and nothing else needs to be known at this time.
