I have had a back fusion, my whole neck is fused, a scattered joint in my arm, a plate and hinge in my left arm, 28 screws in my back, and I cannot sit, stand, or walk for long periods, nor can I lift heavy items. I am going to file for disability, but I was told I haven't worked enough quarters. There are people who get disability benefits without ever working, often because they are obese or on drugs.
