If someone abandoned their wife and pet family, moved into a not pet friendly dwelling, then decided to move out of state two years later, what right does he have to claim any of the pet family? Out of 6 pets, the one he wants has been a support pet for the wife, who has been the primary caretaker for 6+ years. The couple got divorced but the agreement, because of this issue, will now go to arbitration. There are 2 dogs and 4 cats.

In the state of Utah, if a lease on a home rental expires and you continue for two years as a month-to-month, is the lease still in effect?
