I’m having civil issues with my nephew (who I raised) and his wife. My nephew and I were close, but since the day before his wedding, he has not wanted anything to do with me. I have to go through his wife to discuss anything about his children. The children's mother has allowed me to continue seeing the kids, but there have been occasions where dates were messed up. Everything seems like a power trip with his wife. Some of the control she has is due to my nephew having a baby with her, and I currently can't have a relationship with this baby. What can I do to ensure I don’t have to ask his wife and hope she translates it correctly to my nephew or even tells him at all? I feel I should be talking to him about his kids and the children’s mother when she has them. Any advice?

The job took longer than expected, and the financing company closed the account because the contractor did not request an extension. Now, the contractor wants me to reapply for a loan. I purchased a boat from a seller in Kentucky on eBay, but the boat was misrepresented as being in excellent condition. I paid full price via direct wire and additional shipping costs. The boat arrived in Nevada, where I live, and was found to have been sunk with the engine full of water. The seller also failed to deliver the title. Can I file a report of fraud in Nevada, and what legal actions can I take?

I had a hair follicle test ordered by social services. The results were positive for Marijuana, and I was never contacted by a Medical Review Officer (MRO) or the social worker about the results. I was informed of the positive result on December 28, 2017. I have repeatedly requested the chain of custody from the social worker, but she has ignored my requests. How do I obtain the chain of custody, and what legal steps can I take if the social worker continues to refuse?

I have 2 parcels of farm land on one deed. Is this considered one farm? I received separate tax bills, one for each parcel. The deed is recorded in Marion County, Kentucky, and the land is owned by a multi-member LLC. How will the IRS view this?

Is someone charged with a felony allowed to leave Wisconsin? The person in question is facing two felony charges for stealing family jewelry and using a debit card without permission. They were arrested and released on a signature bond, and their new court date is set for 1/31/18. The individual has since left the state and is currently in Michigan.
