I’m taking an online course to be a nutrition coach. I understand I can not “prescribe” meal plans as to treat an illness, but I want to make sure I’m still able to work with people online or in person in Tennessee, as long as I don’t claim to be a nutritionist or a dietitian. What are the legal requirements and restrictions for providing nutrition counseling or advice in Tennessee?

I worked for a dispensary in Illinois that was opening up. We were furloughed during COVID, and the boss promised our jobs back. After I moved to California, the boss called saying I could work remotely. They used my cannabis ticket to get their license faster and are now denying the call ever happened and that I moved during the pandemic, despite text evidence. Are they doing something wrong, and what can I do about it?
