In 2012, I financed two vehicles from Nissan in my business name with me as a guarantor. In December 2016, I sold the company to my partner, keeping the vehicles but not changing their names. Last month, my partner sold the company and dissolved the corporation. I have since lost almost everything, including two other vehicles that were repossessed. What would happen if I let these two vehicles go? Will the lenders go after my ex-partner or just me since the corporate entity has been dissolved and closed?

A search warrant was issued for an address on the right side of a building, but the warrant described the left side door with a different address. Officers searched a vehicle on private property, which was not mentioned in the warrant, and towed it away. What can be done about this situation?

In 2003, a book in English called 'A Course in Miracles' was ruled to be in the public domain by a United States court. Recently, a German court upheld the copyright there (and presumably throughout the E.U.). The text of the book has been posted many places on the internet. I posted a translation of this public domain text onto a server here in the U.S. The original copyright holder is claiming though that it still controls publishing rights and translation rights outside the United States. How does this apply to the internet though? Am I free to post a translation on a U.S. based server?
