In Federal court, what is needed to be considered a valid contract, and is a verbal agreement sufficient for an attorney to claim representation? Specifically, if an attorney claims a verbal agreement for representation, but there was no written 'Letter of Representation' sent to the client as required by Pennsylvania law, can the attorney's claim be valid?
