In Norfolk, Virginia, we want to change the percentage interest in common elements of our condo. Our Declarations state that 'no percentage interest in the Common Elements shall be altered except with the unanimous consent of all the Unit Owners expressed in an amended Declaration.' We had a meeting to vote on this amendment. Is a unanimous vote at the meeting sufficient for the amendment to be effective, or must we get each owner to consent regardless of the vote at a meeting?
