In Ohio, for a full bathroom remodel costing over $16,000, is it required to have a licensed contractor on site? We hired a company that refers to itself as general contractors, but the supervisor admitted to not being licensed. We are concerned about potential damage and OSHA violations.

In filing a Pro Se complaint, will the judge favor a complaint that is filed in a more traditional (lawyer-prepared) format, or is a standard (pro se) essay format acceptable? The current complaint, written by my girlfriend Pilar, is in essay form, filled with anger and emotion, and is almost 15 pages long. I'm worried that the judge may see this essay-format, emotion-based complaint as overly dramatic and/or hyperbolic, and thus may not give it the credence it deserves. Thoughts?

Hello, we have a hardworking, wonderful person driving our truck. However, she makes some bad mistakes, including filling up the diesel truck with unleaded, scraping the box portion of the truck on an advertising sign, and hitting a bridge. Because of the accident tonight, she will get 7 hours of overtime as she had to wait for the tow and ride back. What are my rights to handle this? Do I have to pay her overtime? Do I have to pay the fines? I attached photos from the bridge strike today.

My mom got audited for claiming my kids as dependents on her tax returns for two consecutive years. The IRS says she owes money, and we're unsure why since she has been helping me with my kids for 12 years. We need advice on how to proceed and prove that the kids lived with her for more than half the year.
