My divorce states that I have use and possession of the marital house until my child turns 18, provided I pay the principal, interest, taxes, and insurance. The house will be sold when the child reaches majority, and we will split the net equity. I want to buy another house and rent the old one to my brother to help pay the mortgage on the new one.
