In Wisconsin, if a victim does not want a no contact order in a domestic battery case, when is the best time to request its removal: at the beginning of the criminal case or at sentencing? Additionally, is it typical for a no contact order to be part of the sentencing and probation?

I am a pre-surgery transsexual woman planning to fly out of Memphis, TN or Little Rock, AR dressed as my preferred gender presentation, female. I cannot get the usual picture IDs in AR in my female name before I actually have surgery. I plan to purchase the airline ticket in my male name which will match my passport and other picture ID, but my appearance will be altered slightly by a minimum of tasteful makeup and a conservative wig. I will dress in comfortable travel clothing, probably dress jeans and a conservative blouse. What can I expect as far as the reception at the TSA security lanes? What other steps might I do to avoid undue inconvenience and attention?

My car was totaled in an accident where the at-fault party had a $10,000 insurance limit. The insurance company is offering me a percentage of the full replacement value and car rental reimbursement. Can I refuse their offer and sue the at-fault driver for the full amount of my damages?

I found a number in my grandmother's belongings that were given to me. The number is XXXXX, and her married name was Matheny, maiden name Hanna. The family is from Ohio, in Wood County. I need to know what this number could pertain to, to whom, and why. Could it be a death, criminal, birth, or adoption number?

In Louisiana, if a law requires exemptory exceptions to be written in the administrative code and no such exemptions have been written, is the law defective and can it be enforced? Specifically, if Louisiana Code sec.295.2 prohibits wearing headphones while driving but exempts an 'instrument for the improvement of defective human hearing,' and I use noise-canceling headphones for medical necessity, can I be exempted from this law if the Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) refuses to carry out its duties under the law? Are there precedents under Louisiana law that would make the statute unenforceable against me as long as the responsible party refuses to carry out its duties, or must I argue the merits of my case to the judge in the absence of the mandated judgment of the DMV? Also, does the judge have jurisdiction and authority to order the DMV to comply?
